Prishtina, 31.01.2023 – Galeria Qahili is pleased to invite you to Renea Begolli’s first solo exhibition entitled “Pragu” on February 8, 2023 starting at 19:00.

The solo exhibition of Renea Begolli is curated by Yll Xhaferi which presents various paintings, experimental images, photography, and installations, all focused on exploring the relationship between the individual and the layers of physicality.

“Drawing from her own personal experiences, Begolli”s work is deeply reflective and introspective, also drawing an intersection line of private and public spaces and the body’s relationship to the ecosystem. She reflects on intimate emotional states, also with a gendered perspective on body image and social expectations. Through her work, she seeks to intervene in spaces and create images that reflect the changes in the ecosystem and the potential future landscapes.” Excerpt from the curatorial text Yll Xhaferi.

The exhibition will be on view through 4 March 2023. 

Renea Begolli’s solo exhibition is part of the programme of Galeria Qahili and the open call of the young artists.
